Gender-affirming surgery specifics

Gender-affirming surgery is a defined part of the fellowship, approximately 250 cases in the 2025-2026 year. That volume has been stable year to year. The program includes primary and revision surgery and works within NYU’s multidisciplinary gender-affirming and reconstructive program, which includes collaboration between Urology and Plastic Surgery.
